"M" from Richland Center
Not sure if "M" knows this but somehow we are very distantly related--have to ask our parents how, but still what a small world! Regardless of that fact, she was a great sport about trying out some new location shots and had great ideas of her own. I am having a hard time narrowing down my favorites but above are a couple of the fun new options! Hope you are enjoying the rest of the images, "M"! Good luck feeding the EMHE masses in the early am & tell Ty "hi"! ;^)

"C" from R.C.

This pretty princess was a lot of fun to photograph. She had a playful attitude that made it easy to capture great images--lots of them! With a smile like hers, serious shots seem kind of a shame, but she is able to easily pull off both expressions with great results! Enjoy the flowers, "C", but enjoy your images even more!

"J" from Richland Center area

Well, it got to be big bro "J's" turn for his senior session and Mother Nature decided to dish out some of her unpredictable Wisconsin weather. We managed to get a few outdoor poses before the rain cut loose but most of "J's" images were inside. I think we came up with a lot of great images of him, and although I selected this more serious expression for posting, "J" has an amazing smile (that's why I chose the serious as I had too many smile favorites). "J" you were a great help with your little brothers, and I know your mom & I both appreciated it! Best of luck this year with football (your class's turn to shine) and wrestling! Remember "BAD," as cool as it sounds, might not make the best name for your future line of airplanes...then again, maybe it would!

"Q" & "A" from Richland Center area

No questions about it, these two were adorable! Little "Q" arrived hungry, so so big bro "J"(next post) & I headed out to the play area for energetic "A's" session. Last time I took his pics, he wasn't as mobile, so it was fun chasing him around with the camera. He was truly in his element! "Q" was so patient with his shot at the spot light, although his radar was focused on Mommy most of the time. I think that creates special portraits, as a lot of the time mom's tend to be the ones behind the camera! These two definitely are going to keep their families entertained!

"E" from Waunakee

Took "E's" sister's senior portraits last year and was excited to get the opportunity for her session this year. Every bit as photogenic as big sister, we tried to give "E" a unique look of her own. After all, I want every senior to walk away feeling like we've truly captured his/her spirit, and in "E's" case I know we did! Enjoy picking out your favorites "E!"

"K" from Muscoda

Talk about a smiler! "K" had a great session with a lot of variety, including some serious looks that cracked his mom & I up. I took his image for a wrestling team poster last winter, but it was really fun to get to know him for his senior session! He was willing to try so many things & I think kind of enjoyed the spotlight. Hope your mom's vehicle is working better now that battery had a chance to recharge! ;^) Enjoy your senior year!

"K" from Viroqua

Apparently "K's" sisters gave him plenty of input on what to wear but he knew what he wanted for poses. It's always refreshing working with someone who has their own vision of their senior portraits. Hope you found the part for your car ~ I know that it was a difficult search, but I'm sure you'll be happy with the end result, just like your images!

"K" from Richland Center

Almost too cute for words, "K" is a bundle of fun! Being the daughter of a close family friend, we got to spend the day with her (& her mom). My kids adore her and vice versa, so the whole day was win, win for everyone. Despite no nap, she was a trooper and gave us some of her best shots ever...yes, I have taken her portrait many times before! She is very determined for her age and even mastered the Barbie Jeep when it got stuck--the image is too funny! Look forward to every session with this munchkin...she never fails to amaze! Yeah, "K"!!!

"B" from Boscobel
Well, anyone who really knows me will tell you that I love sports. Not necessarily knowing who's who among the pros but I just enjoy watching and participating...when it's physically possible~LOL! Therefore, "B's" session was a lot of fun! Talk about a lot of activity in the studio, but the end results were pretty cool! "B" was very willing to show his bball moves for the sake of a good photo! Keep up the hard work, "B"!

"N Fam" from Platteville

This was a fun session! "N" has an energetic bunch who were absolutely adorable. Back when I was student teaching, Mom "N" was in my class and may or may not have been equally energetic! HMMM?? She was great and the kids did exactly what you would expect kids their ages to do and I tried to capture that. I love the mother-daughter image & I know "N" did, too! P.S. Hope "J" & "A" enjoyed their kayak rides!

Baby "J" ~ Cassville

What a sweetie & only 3 weeks old! It was an absolute pleasure taking her portrait and Mom was a trooper, too. I have had the honor of taking her older brother's pix in the past year, so I can't wait to get them together for more. So different from Senior sessions but equally enjoyable! I bet she is already changing in this short amount of time ~ enjoy Mom "P," it goes by quickly!

"L" from Weston

Close friend of "D", she came along for a session of her own. Though this is a serious image, she had a sincere smile that lit up the studio. She, too, was very helpful with letting me try out new backdrops and poses with her. Hope you were able to make it to your basketball game in time, "L!" Good luck with your senior year!

"D" from Weston
Here was a very put together young man. I really enjoyed working with him and appreciated his help kicking off my 2009 Senior season. He (& "L"--you'll meet her next) were so patient as I was working into my new studio space and a couple of new ideas for poses. He was quiet but willing to try whatever. Neat side point--my parents were the photographers for his parents' wedding. Thanks for being a good sport "D." Good luck this year in all your activities!
